La Pendeja 8.5″ 5.56 NATO AR Upper Parts Set with 9.5″ M-LOK Handguard
La Pendeja is an AR-pattern upper parts set featuring an 8.5-inch barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO and a 9.5-inch M-LOK handguard with an integral handstop. The set includes a slick-side billet aluminum upper receiver, bolt carrier group, and stainless-steel linear compensator.
The barrel is manufactured from 4150V chrome moly vanadium steel with a Parkerized finish. Its specifications include a 1:7 twist rate, an M4 barrel extension with M4 feed ramps, and a pistol-length gas system. The slick-side upper receiver is CNC-machined from billet aluminum and finished with black hard-coat anodizing.
The bolt carrier group features a Carpenter No. 158 steel bolt that is shot peened, high-pressure tested, and magnetic-particle inspected. It includes a chrome-lined, full-auto-profile carrier and a chrome-lined gas key hardened to USGI specifications. The gas key uses Grade 8 hardened fasteners and is staked per military specifications. The extractor assembly includes a tool-steel extractor, extractor spring, and O-ring insert.
The 9.5-inch M-LOK handguard incorporates an integral handstop and has a 1.3-inch internal diameter with a listed weight of 10.4 ounces. The forward linear compensator is machined from stainless steel with a QPQ black nitride finish and measures 2.25 inches long with a 0.87-inch outside diameter.
